Analysis of the most popular Chinese traditional m

  • Detail

With the reform of medical system and the transition of domestic medical structure to international counterparts, more and more drug supermarkets have sprung up in large and medium-sized cities, replacing the function of hospitals. According to incomplete statistics, there were more than 500 drug supermarkets in Beijing alone in 2003. Many patients can buy drugs nearby, saving the trouble of running to the hospital. These supermarkets really contributed. However, behind the convenience of people's livelihood and price competition, the revenue of Zhengye international also reached 2.074 billion yuan. The supermarket also has the problem of lax control of drug supply channels, packaging and re listing of expired drugs, and even unqualified products of enterprises without license qualification

specifically, at present, the packaging problem of traditional Chinese medicine products in supermarkets is more serious than that of Western medicine. The packaging is not standardized, the bar code printing does not conform to the standard, and the use of packaging materials does not conform to the health regulations on food and drug packaging, mainly including the following manifestations:

first, the packaging of oral liquid, syrup and tonic liquid. Some products are not packed with aluminum tear proof lids in accordance with relevant national regulations, and the ampoule glass bottles that were banned earlier are resurgent. Patients often bring glass powder to the population when taking them, which brings hidden dangers to life and health. Many cough syrup, nourishing oral liquid and other products packaged in glass bottles are still packaged in recycled bottles, which is strictly prohibited by the drug packaging law. In addition, even products packaged in new bottles cannot prove that the source of materials meets the standard. Because the bottle making enterprise cannot prove whether its bottle making raw materials are recycled raw materials or brand-new raw materials. It has long been stipulated that medical glass bottles should not be made of recycled materials. The same problem also exists in plastic bottles. It is understood that many enterprises use recycled materials to crush and then make new bottles in order to reduce costs

II. The printing of bar code and product description is unqualified. As the circulation of drugs in supermarkets mainly depends on POS machines, the unqualified bar code printing makes the machine unable to read, and the guide wheel on the column of the store will be biased to one side for the convenience of shipping, and then stick the self-made bar code on the package. This practice may give counterfeit drugs an opportunity. Some of the problems of bar codes are false codes, some are multi-purpose codes, and some are printing positions and printing materials expected to be used on commercial aircraft. The reflective area is not enough. There are more problems in the product description since 2012. The drug description should include the following aspects: drug name, ingredients, properties, action category, pharmacological action, indications, usage and dosage, precautions, drug action, adverse reactions, storage conditions, packaging specifications, approval number, expiry date, production unit, address and other dozens of contents. At present, some drug instructions do not contain all the above contents

III. The packaging specifications are diverse, and the use of materials is not reasonable. At present, some well-known traditional Chinese medicine enterprises in China not only meet domestic demand, but also export a large number of products, such as Tongrentang; Authentic pharmacies such as Darentang, Jiuzhitang and Tongjitang have occupied a place in the minds of Chinese and even foreign Chinese. However, there are many kinds of traditional Chinese medicine preparations, such as pills, powders, ointments and pills, with a variety of packaging specifications. Some of them are afraid of knocking, touching, smelling and squeezing. But from a professional point of view, the current packaging design and the use of packaging materials are still not elegant. For the same drugs, Japan, South Korea and Singapore pay much attention to the packaging, and some packaging is even better than western medicine. The relevant person in charge of the State Drug Administration pointed out that traditional Chinese medicine enterprises should not only strictly control the quality of products, but also increase investment in packaging, scientific and reasonable use of materials, convenient use and other aspects, so as to make contributions to expanding exports and revitalizing national medicine
