Packaging design characteristics of self-adhesive labels for cosmetics
now, self-adhesive labels have broad development prospects in the world. Take the outer packaging materials of cosmetics in the United States as an example, self-adhesive film labels account for 35%, direct silk printing accounts for 30%, self-adhesive paper labels account for 11%, and in mold film labels account for 11%. It can be seen that self-adhesive labels account for 46% of its outer packaging material market. According to statistics, the demand for self-adhesive labels in China is growing rapidly at a rate of more than 20% every year. At present, the size of China's self-adhesive label market has computers of about 450 ~ 500million square meters, and the per capita share is only 0.3 square meters/person/year. However, some developed countries, such as Australia, have begun to fly at an altitude of extremely low temperature, reaching 12 square meters/person/year. Therefore, China's self-adhesive label market has great potential
among them, Hong Kong and Guangzhou account for 67% of China's self-adhesive label market. The Shanghai market has developed rapidly in recent years. It is expected that in four or five years, Shanghai will become the largest self-adhesive label market in China. However, as far as the current situation is concerned, the focus is still on the Guangdong market
at present, the Fraunhofer project team has adopted a completely different method. The self-adhesive label packaging of cosmetics in China has the following characteristics:
1. Most domestic well-known cosmetics brands have shifted from silk printing to self-adhesive labels on the outer packaging, and the demand for film label materials is growing rapidly. In recent years, more and more cosmetic manufacturers are willing to choose self-adhesive labels. From the perspective of practicality, the application of self-adhesive labels enables designers to design packaging containers more freely and have stronger operability; Considering the cost, if there are more than four packaging colors, the label cost is lower than that of silk printing. At present, the materials of labels mainly include paper labels and film labels. Due to the high technical content of film labels, the cost is much higher than that of paper labels. Generally, there are three layers of film labels, each of which has different requirements. For example, the first layer is required to be well combined with ink, and the third layer is required to be well combined with glue. The middle layer is the carrier, and the color of the label is determined by this layer. Although the price of film labels is high, more and more manufacturers have recognized its advantages, and the growth rate of film labels in China has begun to accelerate
2, ultra transparent and backlog resistant materials are widely used. For example, the ultra transparent packaging used in "icalu" shampoo
3. The global/regional procurement of some multinational companies has been transferred to China
4. Domestic label data storage and printing quality ranks first in the world. At the global packaging annual conference, I found that the quality of self-adhesive printing in China is the best in the world. In foreign countries, the price of daily chemical products is very cheap compared with the income of consumers, so consumers will not carefully study their packaging quality; In China, well-known daily chemical products are relatively expensive, and some are even more luxurious items, so consumers will have a more picky eye on their packaging; In addition, affected by some objective factors, such as the poor road traffic conditions in China, the packaging of cosmetics is required to have strong abrasion resistance. All these factors have prompted cosmetic manufacturers to set higher standards for packaging suppliers
5. In mold label is advancing in exploration. In mold labeling not only has good anti-counterfeiting function, but also requires no higher cost than traditional labels. It is a new labeling technology with great potential. However, after the packaging containers with in mold labeling are produced, it is impossible to change the label, which has an impact on the production flexibility, which requires manufacturers to have accurate sales forecasts for products. However, there are not many domestic manufacturers to this extent, which limits the rapid development of in mold labeling in China. At present, some private enterprises in China have made bold attempts to take the lead in this field; Most large multinational companies are still in the wait-and-see stage
